ABOUT THE PhotoGrapher
Pasang Kazi Sherpa was born in Kathmandu,
Nepal, He is a trekking and Mountaineering guide in Nepal. The
natural beauty of the country had inspired him and whenever
he visited the mountains he got the opportunity to shot the
photos of the mountains. He like to take snaps of Himalayan
peaks, landscapes and as well as daily life photos. He felt
heaven when he is framing the Himalayas highest mountain peaks,
also he appreciate to capture landscape and daily life photos.
He always says " Mountains are not only for climb they
are also the abode of spectacular views" he never satisfy
to shot the image of Mountain in his camera, and some time he
feel his camera is a prison for mountain. He is awarded by UNESSCO
excellence award 1998 from Japan for his photograph in titled"
Mountain boy ", also he has got the letter of Appreciation
for his remarkable contribution on Nepal's first ever tourism
year celebration "Visit Nepal 1998". He did solo photo
exhibition and slide show about Nepal Himalayas in France and
Switzerland as well as in Nepal. He did professional journalism
training from Media point, and professional photographic training
from Kristal professional institute from Kathmandu. He is active
member of (PSA) Photographic society of America, Executive member
of (PLMF) Pasang Lhamu mountaineering foundation, President
of (NTGA) Nepal trekking guide association, member of (FNJ)
Federation of Nepalese journalist, member of (NMA)Nepal mountaineering
association and member of Babu Chiri memorial foundation.
